![]() ![]() You’re allowed to go through as many times as you want on the same day of ticket purchase, but again, save some food for each time. I’d go early and go back through at least twice. We got there about 3:15 and were able to go through twice. There are some very large, intimidating animals with large horns that WILL stick their heads in your car window, it seems in search of the elusive carrots! None were aggressive, but it was somewhat intimidating while also exhilarating! I’d break the carrots in two and save some for the possibility of feeding the bison/elk as it seems the alpaca/llamas sworn everyone first. We bought the smallest food package (4 cups), and it was plenty for the two of us adults to feed the animals, even went back through a second time as we had lots of grain left as most of the animals prefer the carrots and lettuce. I’m glad this did not deter us from going. Also, the walking portion was not yet open opens after Memorial Day I think. ![]() When I called, staff told me the only animal not allowed out would be the giraffe since it was too cool still. It was overcast but not rainy (rained the day prior) but cool. If the weather is rainy and/or colder than 60 degrees, call first to see if some of the animals will not be out. They do have giraffes and zebras at the end but by then many cars are out of food and you pay even more! To top It off you may not even get to feed the giraffes or zebras. ![]() There were so many deer and alpacas crammed under the few shady spots that many were just laying on the ground in the sun from heat exhaustion, they look awful. Many of the animals look sick and overheated. They ride golf carts and move the animals (who just come right back) but cars are able to sit there and hold up traffic for however long they please. It took another 30 min to get up to see the animals because there is not direction of traffic from employees. On top of that if you want more than 1 cup of pellets total they charge $15-30 more. The ticket prices are insane!!! On the weekends they charge $30/person not by the carload which is ridiculous. We arrived around 12 and as many others have stated it took about 44 min to get to the tickets. We live about 2 hours away and decided this may be a fun activity. Once you are actually with the animals for the short trip through the park, it is a good time. If you don't mind the extremely long wait times and the ridiculously high prices, then I recommend this facility. This is ridiculous price for the size of the facility, and the fact that us paying customers are helping them do their jobs by feeding the animals a portion of their daily diet. We have 4 people in the car and paid $114 just to sit in our car for about 3 1/2 hours with 2 cups of food (they are $15 per 1lb cup). This park is very tiny and is just a big circle (nothing even close to The Wilds). There were some babies animals there as well that just melted our hearts. We paid for feeding animals and we should have been permitted to do so. There were workers staning the aplaca area with tamberines that were scare the animals away when they would get to the car windows and just about ready to eat the food. The alpacas, cattle, and bison are very aggressive and will demand to be fed (the longhorns will also scratch your car to pieces.). Once you get to the animals it becomes a fun time. Some animals are behind double fences so you have no way to feed them. Once we got our tickets, if was a good hour wait before we got to any animals. We waited 90 minutes in the gate just to buy our tickets. ![]()
